Artisan markets

The markets are great!!!

I have only done two markets at this point but they have been one of the most enjoyable parts of my blacksmithing jorney so far because I always get to meet many new people and get my work out into the world!

There is a lot of preparation to be done for each market such as making the stock, packaging it up and making sure that everything is ready to be displayed.

Because I am only 16 we have to load all the stuff up into my dads car, which can be a tight squeeze to fit us all in with all the stock and display. During the market I always get to see some familiar faces and meet lots of new people. It’s always great to talk to people throughout the day because it can open new opportunities for me like discovering new markets or creating new products and ideas. At the end of the day there are always a few people left browsing through the stalls which can suprisingly lead to the most sales. It’s always a busing time when packing up and when you get home nothing is where you thought it would be!

If you are ever nearby please come and have a look and see what I have got. There might be something there that you can’t get on the website and it is always nice to see new people.
