Manchester bee garden ornament
The bee has been a symbol of Manchester for over 150 years. It can be seen in and round Manchester so I thought I would have a go at making one. I used a image and scaled it up to make the bee have a wingspan of 400mm. The pieces are forged and then welded together to form the bee. It has three points where it can be screwed to a fence, shed or wall. I have used a wax finish as this will allow it to go rusty over time which I think looks nice and give it a good patina.
